About THCa Snowballs
Snowballs are what happens when flower and concentrate merge. Take a dense, properly cured bud, coat it in powdered THCa isolate — the same 99%-purity crystal our THCA diamonds are made of, milled fine — and you get a white-frosted nug that smokes like flower but hits like a concentrate. Base flower runs 25–30% THC on its own; the coating pushes total THCa past 50%, roughly two to three times top-shelf flower.
One naming note: "snowball weed" here means this coated format, not the old Snowball strain — if you've seen frosty white nugs on social media, this is that.

Snowballs vs Moon Rocks
The formats look related but are built differently. Moon rocks are buds dipped in cannabis oil and then rolled in kief — sticky, messy to handle, and the classic "too strong for my own good" story format. Snowballs skip the oil: the THCa isolate powder is applied directly to the bud, so they stay drier, cleaner to break apart, and more precise in potency, since the coating is a single near-pure compound instead of mixed kief. You'll also see "snow caps" used loosely around the internet — the term isn't standardized, but it generally means a lighter dusting of the same idea. If you want the strongest expression of flower-plus-concentrate with the least mess, snowballs are the format.

How to Smoke Snowballs
One rule above all: never use a grinder. Grinding knocks the isolate coating off into your grinder — literally shedding the potency you paid for. Break pieces gently by hand or snip with scissors. They smoke best in glass: a pipe or bong, ideally the sandwich method — regular ground flower on the bottom for airflow, snowball chunks on top.
